For the city dressing of Rotterdam for the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Studio VOLLAERSZWART recruited six dutch designers to design a look for this extravagant event. To create these colorful looks, the designers were given secondhand flags of European countries. 
The beauty of these ragged and colorful flags served as the inspiration for a suit featuring alternative style adjustable trousers and an oversized blazer. I wanted to showcase the history of these flags by using the ragged parts and mixing different countries in the spirit of bringing the continent together.

The pockets and the belt feature a print inspired by my signature flowers and the European flag, screen-printed using water based inks.
The looks were showcased in the window of the Bijenkorf Rotterdam and were used in the closing event of the Eurovision Song Contest.
